Kerutabs lactase tablets are a good supplement for everyone who is lactose intolerant and would sometimes like to enjoy milk and milk products. Kerutabs tablets contain a natural enzyme, known as lactase. A person who is lactose intolerant does not produce this enzyme in sufficient amounts. If someone takes lactase when consuming a milk product, the lactose becomes easily digestible and is used as a source of energy for the whole body. Kerutabs tablets help the body break down and absorb lactose.
Using lactase tablets if you are lactose intolerant
Kerutabs lactase tablets can be used by both adults and children who are lactose intolerant. We recommend that you use your personal experience to determine the number of tablets you should take with specific products. The amount of lactose can actually vary significantly per meal, as can the level of lactose intolerance per person. That is why there is no general recommended dose for taking lactase. Take the tablets just prior to consuming milk products. The lactase in the tablets will then be broken down in the intestines, where it will remain effective for a limited amount of time. Exactly how long lactase tablets remain effective in the intestines is unknown.
Kerutabs lactase tablets are available in three different packs:
- 15 tablets
- 45 tablets
- 100 tablets
